The Freeconomy Community – Review
Some time ago I wrote a post about a Money Free World and now I discovered a website where similar concept is in action. The Freeconomy Community is a network of people who are willing to share their skills and tools with other members for free. Fundamental rule of this community is that there is no money involved nor any kind of obligation, their web address says it all www.justfortheloveofit.org
It’s easy to join and of course it’s free, then you can add to your profile all the skills you willing to offer and set your location. Search by members or services in the specified radius of your location, there is also a map view which gives a quick overlook of nearby members. It would be nice if there was an option to add a travel location, currently if you like to check a different city then you have to update your location. I saw that there are lots of members already and the more members the more powerful this community is. In what situations is Freeconomy useful? For example when you need a specific tool, qualified help, mentors, support buddies. Whether is a computer problem, a need for a driller or a cooking advice, support in a foreign language or a meditation buddy… (the list is countless) in each case freeconomics are willing to help you, and an altruistic help actually gives satisfaction and joy so this is a win-win solution.
