Scuffy, thanks for a funny comment. Yes many domesticated animals like pets, zoo and farm animals are fed with processed food. They don't do it in the wild . Some people also say that evolution of a man gave us privilege to eat what we eat now, but it's hard to imagine that people thousand years from now would eat like this. Clean plant food fits better in the future of highly evolved intelligent species.

I wrote this post a year ago and currently my diet is slightly optimized: only a few bananas per week, more green juices and from time to time some cooked food - yep like a dog.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm a dog and I eat cooked food so I guess that humans aren't the only species to eat cooked food.

Interesting post. I've been very interedted in health food for about a year now. I see raw vegan as the holy grail of healthy eating but still have my doubts about some things.

Also, 10 bananas in one day sounds excessive. Most of what I read suggests 1 banana every other day. I thing this is to do with keeping a healthy potassium / magnesium balance.

Also, Spirulina is thought to be a source of B12 for vegans.

That sounds oh, so good. I love vegies and fruit. However, I'm on a strict carb count diet for diabetes and only allowed X amount a meal and snack. One banana is 3 carb points all I can have in a meal.

But it does sound good.
